Our support

Accessible counselling and family support.

We offer thoughtful counselling, family mental health support and group therapy for people in Sunderland, Newcastle and across North East England who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, stress or family change. When grant funding is active, sessions may be funded. When it is not, our contribution-based model keeps a route open.

Find your starting point

Support with room to be human.

01 — Cognitive behavioural therapy

A structured, practical approach to understanding thoughts and behaviours, with support for anxiety, depression, and trauma.

02 — Counselling & mindfulness

A steadier space to talk, reflect, and practise being present when life feels noisy or overwhelming.

03 — Family support

Guidance for families working through conflict, communication, change, and the wish to feel connected again.

04 — Group therapy

A supportive, nurturing setting to share experiences, build resilience, and discover that you are not the only one.

How contribution-based sessions work

Give what is manageable right now.

When we do not have active grant funding, we use a simple pay-what-you-can sliding scale. The amount is based on what is manageable for you, not on a judgement of your need.

Your contribution helps cover a session, support volunteers, and keep a safe space open for the next person in our community.

If you are unsure how it works, ask us. We are here to reduce stress, not add to it.
